Important Note: Under the provisions of the Shops Ordinance 1961, His Highness the Head of State, acting on the advice of Cabinet, may declare any other day not in the above list, a Public Holiday. The above list, therefore, is subject to change. Any additional public holiday(s) so declared will be made known to the public in the news media.
