Our People


MCIL has an existing staff capability of 105 with 96 full time staff, 9 contract staff  in its main head office in Upolu.  Three (3) full time staff manage the Savaii Office.

Ministers

The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour (MCIL) is among the many portfolios of the Minister Honorable Leatinu’u Wayne So’oialo and the Associate Minister Fetalaiga Lagaaia Tufuga

Organisational Structure

We have eight(8) core divisions to monitor and enforce compliance of more than 36 pieces of legislation with the support of the Corporate Services Unit. We anticipate significant changes to our structure to accommodate government’s public service reforms to ensure the Government delivers the most efficient and effective services to its citizens and investors.
