Fourteen carpenters complete Grade 2 Trade Testing Scheme

The Apprenticeship, Employment and Labour Market Division hosted the Grade 2 Trade Testing Scheme for Carpentry and Joinery at the National University of Samoa, where fourteen local carpenters completed upgrading, theory and practical assessments toward Trade Test Certification.

The Apprenticeship, Employment and Labour Market Division successfully hosted the Grade 2 Trade Testing Scheme for Carpentry and Joinery from 27 May 2026 at the National University of Samoa.

Fourteen (14) local carpenters participated in the program, which included an Upgrading Class on 27 May, a theoretical examination on 29 May, and a Practical Evaluation on 30 May.

Successful candidates will be awarded a Trade Test Certification, directly enhancing their career mobility and employment opportunities.
